I am originally from Switzerland where I acquired a degree in Biology. I then relocated to the United States to obtain my doctorate in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, and then on to the University in San Francisco to do a fellowship in Infectious Disease. Since then, I have worked at a number of different biotechnology companies here and overseas. I have been a scientist, then became involved in sales and marketing, and finally I worked as a CEO. I have spent years traveling across this country and overseas doing sales and seminars. After I worked in the industry for a number of years, I turned my attention to teaching, and I have taught a number of courses over the past 8 years. For every class that I have mentored, I have provided the opportunity for students to receive extra tutoring. I feel that these sessions are rewarding and beneficial. I have also assisted many students with preparations for their standardized exams, and have witnessed their achievements. In my free time I enjoy horseback riding, reading, and walking my dog.
