Experience

I have significant teaching and tutoring experience. At MIT, I was a tutor for the department of mathematics and the department of minority education. I've taught a number of courses at the collegiate level from graduate level physics courses to freshman biology. Some of my scientific exploits have been covered in press releases and by some semi-notable bloggers (eg http://www.caltech.edu/news/physics-going-viral-4211, http://spectrum.mit.edu/articles/skipping-ahead/) On a personal note, I am very passionate about the transformative role math, science, and education can play in the lives of young people (I would know, I've lived it myself!).
